I swear at times, you could film three hours of prairie desert in widescreen and get an Art Direction nomination. But only if there were some hills in the background. But not sunsets. The Academy hates those. ;) I completely agree with you, though. I tend to think of the Academy of sitting on high,...

I think they should just leave this alone. The CGI just isn't around that won't make Venom look like a giant cartoon, which, let's face it, he is.

I know what you're saying Karl, but I'd argue that as long as the charity gets good press and funds, then it's ok.

Beadle himself admitted that he did it for selfish reasons.

Interestingly enough, that's one of the reasons I love the cartoon so damn much.

As for Botanica, it's s real shame she didn't get a toy. Here's hoping that balance will be redressed someday.

I can see the Compass getting this one, to be honest.

TF won't because the Academy hates massive blockbusters, GC did only modestly well.

Best. Programme. Ever.

I'm sorry, but it just is. There's not many TV programmes that I just have to watch, but this is right at the top of the list.

Who would ever have thought that a programme about cars people can't afford, presented by three middle-aged men could be so popular?
