I'm more for ditching the guff and keeping LSOTW. I mean the references to the distaster known as AHM are vague anyway. My solution would be for the so called 'purge' to come after the Decepticons were exposed and defeated on Earth by Prowl's team and the (new) Wreckers. Prior to said exposure and d...

You would've thought Hot Rod would know better than to trust some Decepticons to help his lot out, especially if you're the kind of continuity hound who likes to have Costa's stuff as a continuation of Furman's material. In which case you'll end up wondering how the hell did Beachcomber got better. ...

I've only read the synopsis for this issue on TFWiki and the realisation of the traitor thing just comes across as extremely tacky. "I was experiemented on by a group of humans who were under the command of a rogue decepticon. Therefore, as I soon as I am back to my old self, I shall betray my comra...

Can you imagine Grimlock styled on Arnie? "Get to da Skyfiah!", "Halavista, Shockvave.", "Scrap you, Empty.", "Don't deestrub my friend, he's logged off." Arnie uses puns, man. And we know Yaya hates puns. Alright, seriously I'll be honest. I have no idea what IDW and McCarthy are trying to acheive...

Scopronok's Headmaster plan is independent of Ore-13, being a rogue 'con and all - he hasn't got a friend within the Decepticon army. It's clear from Spotlight: Ultra Magnus he's more a behind-the-corporate-scene type who deals in dodgy tech than your average 'con Infiltration squad. Swoop's charact...

McCarthy is only one of many writers on Coda

That's one issue too many though, do we really need to have more of McCarthy's drivel?

How many chances is McCarthy going to get after the AHM debacle? I mean AHM:Coda?

I'll be honest, I thought McCarthy's use of dialouge was pathetically cringe-worthy, that includes the bits people liked. But then I have no idea what IDW were thinking with their current "Let's squash Revelation into an ill-fitting format and then ignore Furman for the first half and then start inf...

In short: F**k off McCarthy and take this story and Drift with you into the stomach of the nearest shark! Woah! harsh! Bad a writer as McCarthy is, you can't blame the guy for wanting to have a crack at it. It's just a shame IDW are so utterly crud at hiring good writers. Didn't McCarthy had a Batm...

I didn't bother going to my LCS after work. Reading from what I read here and elsewhere, it's almost if as if McCarthy relucantly had to take Furman's stories into account at long last. And frankly, it shows. And McCarthy doesn't give a s**t as long he gets to have the Decepticons prance around New ...

Hutchinson's are indeed the one good point of AHM and Spotlight: Blurr was good for a McCarthy written comic, which is above average in terms of Spotlights. Never thought McCarthy was the one who bought him in for the covers. Not like McCarthy deserves any credit mind, but still. But as you said Tig...

Finally got my mitts on a copy of issue 2 and my LCS told me Maximum Dinobots sold like hot cakes. Can't wait to...

Yaya, it's all right saying the book needs a bigger name to increase sales but are you willing to place names on the table or are you happy just sitting on the fence yelling "We need a big name to increase sales!" like its the cure for the flaws in IDW's strategy. Besides, most comic fans would rath...

Personally I found the racism angle to be unconvincing and forced, due to the fact we're talking about robots that transform into other things. I can buy Nova Prime and Skywarp looking down on non-Cybertronian lifeforms but Skywarp picking on Bombshell because the latter transforms into an insect do...

Considering how much space has been wasted in the preceeding 5 issues, what's to say that the Swarm isn't just more padding to artifically lengthen the series - or better still, why not have a squad of Decepticons *cough*The Mayhem Attack Unit*cough* arrive in issue 3 or whatever and have The Wrecke...

What's truly sad is that EJ Su drew that image for AHM7! Did McCarthy take EJ's daughter hostage and forced him to come up with that... thing?

The "Swarm" itself looks like it consists of different mash ups of Flame's zombies, Bay-verse Scorponok and the Insecticons.

I do like the fact that Starscream and Bombshell had caught onto the fact they're in one of the worst TF comics ever written. It's funnier when the latter, bar a flashback sequnce in SL: Blaster, hasn't appeared in the IDW-verse beforehand!

I wished I made that up.
