I personally found it a little meh, it was good but almost felt like a superhero-movie parody. Not one actor was seemingly taking their character seriously, especially Tony Stark and Hammer seemed to be like parodies of themselves. Also, lot of not-too-cleverly-hidden Avengers nods. Stay through the...

Well Predaking was already reissued once, a few years ago.

Me, I have the original one, with some combiner parts taken from a KO version.

That kitbash is amazing, although a bit too zoid-like (given that those were what it is made of).

At least one of the new recruits will stay alive, because that is: -A: Unexpected -B: Expected by anyone who saw 7 Samurai. :) Impactor will die, because well, that's what he does most of the time, taking bullets for others. Likely, for Springer just so that the green guy can feel even worse. Guzzle...

Must have been a glowing one if they printed it. I really liked what Simon did with Stormbringer...up til the very end where he shat all over what was about to be a perfect miniseries by having Prime "talk" Thunderwing to death til he ran out of gas. Ah well. Erm, Prime talked WHILE shooting him wi...

Yaya, I always felt that it was especially showing just how dire the situation was, and how extremely irritating and pig-headed Grimlock can be, that even Prowl has begin to lose his patience. I always felt that had Grimmy not been doing the stuff he did (going hiking instead of keeping up the troop...

James Roberts replied to my post on TFW2005 - thought I'd share it with you as it contains some info about their writing process and also confirms my suspicion that Ferak's robot mode is based on an even more obscure UK comic character... :) Don't tell me - you thought it was just me writing it all ...

So Sweeney Todd originally had no romantic subplot? Yeah, I could have done without that. It was hard to imagine that such a deranged crazy killer would have such feelings, anyway. I always look at Burton's movies, if they are re-works of an original, as a kind of "What if..." or "Elseworlds" story....

http://tformers.com/reviews.php?op=showcontent&id=1142 Enker's review of the issue at Tformers. Read it, sums up my thoughts perfectly. The premise of the Ongoing, Bumblebee, and Spotlight:Prowl, is: What happens to the Transformers when the war is over? The answer apparently is that everyone’s IQ ...

Try the 2009 Alice series... Hallmark productions I believe. An interesting modern take on the story, where Wonderland is a paralell universe with improved technology, and the Queen of Hearts abducts humans from our world via the White Rabbit agency, keeping them drugged and extracting their emotion...

The third mode is kinda like Classics Galvatron's so-called cannon mode, IE forced, but the toy looks awesome. Head is spot-on Straxus with the pharaoh-like helmet and even the Con insignia on his head. And he has his trademark warpick!

This was easily the worst TF comic I have read since AHM's last issue (12 or what). Let's see the bad points... - Prime's cheesy speech. SURE, a 5-6 million years old warrior can learn from a wet behind the ears fleshling, who cannot even manage his own team well? If it took this long for Prime to f...

Overlord's aim is obviously to lure Megatron personally here, so he can defeat him in front of all the Bots and Cons, that'd make him instant leader material. Of course, he is also slightly nuts but it seems for 6-phasers that's a job requirement. What I don't get is, in the Ongoing everyone is pret...

A+ ? really... It was not as bad as #5, but that's an overstatement. IMHO, it was really-really dragged out. Just like AHM - not much happens in 22 pages. TC's philosophycal musings were fun to read for like, 2 pages - but it was overdone after that. And while I like some minor character perks in th...
