Ultra Magnus was a recent creation? I always assumed he was an older TF who just had been in space or something and returned. Blurr and Hot Rod were created just prior to Prime's departure (Blurr says he 4 million years old) so he used the Matrix on them. Magnus acts and seems "older" than either of...

Rhinox's comment amkes sense if you include Beast Machines in the statement. The "Matrix" and "Pit" are physical locations where protoforms are made, but they are, in truth, simply gateways into the Matrix Zone (That's what Rhinox meant), or "Allspark" which is where ALL TF life, Bot or Con or Pred ...

Umm, and where was this ever stated on the show? I honestly doubt that life comes from the Matrix in the BW era- After all, the great war is over, and there should be plenty of TFs on Cybertron. Besides, we never ever found out what happened to G1 OP in BW, and there is not even a hint of a new Pri...

I don' think the Pit is supposed to be hell for TFs, ti's a POV thing: - The Pit and the Matrix are physical facilities on Cybertron (well the Pit is probably on the main Moon the Preds live on) where Predacon and Maximal protoforms are made. They both are really just links to the Allspark where all...

Thing is, the story isn't really meant to be much of a traditional "Transformers" story. It's meant to show more how the TFs mere presence on Earth throws the natural balance of power out of wack, and how this affects the people on it. One part I really liked was the end where Slick stands up to Meg...

Yeah, Thunderpunch said he felt more like a dancer in Swan Lake, and also said that even Rapture's tight costume couldn't make her look hot. One of the only fems in comics I know who complain about their revealing costumes was Silk Spectre in "Watchmen". EVeryone (including herself) was complaining ...

Meh, Jim Lee women are okay but the whole "all Jim Lee women must be swimsuit models" thing sorta dilutes the hotness after a while. I mean, making Rogue a sexbomb was sorta wierd, considering her power and it's affect on her personality...

Sorry dude, the only time I ever think a comic lady is hot is if they're drawn by Alex Ross, and even then it's rare ;)

April O'Neil was only a reporter in the TMNT cartoon, in the original comics (which came out either before TFs or at the same time) she was a scientist.

I dunno, I wouldn't have liked Time Wars as much if it was done by the same guys who were doing the US comics (Yomtov, was that his name). Same for "Matrix Quest", but then again I never liked that story... Same for Target 2006, but then again, I stopped liking that as much after I realized that the...

Eh, for the human characters I think you should just make up an entirely new char like Batman: TAS did with Summer Gleeson, and just put them in for the resporters/scientists. I don't see the appeal of chars like Joy Meadows over any of Bob's human chars. I read "Girls' night out" and I still don't ...

Well yeah. That's sorta why I posted this topic. People say something like that was a big plot hole for Bob, when in truth it's more a plot hole for Furman (who chnaged it to being a physical object) in relating his stories to past stories. Of course, it is all becuase of the movie. Either that or R...

I don't think all the autobots knew Prime had it either. Remember it wasn't a sign of leadership and all Primes then, it was some holy Relic. It's not like eveyr Pope has the Holy Grail now does he? I know that Furman revealed that the Bots knew (In "Chain of Command" or something), but then again, ...

Okay, it's just that it sorta seemed in the review the reviewer was making it out to be an attack on Bob's writing, when it was later retcons that made it nonsensical.

Of course, I actually agree with all the "Mechanic" criticisms...

Was that directed at me? I'm sorry if I was unclear: Originally, the Matrix wasn't a physical object, it was a computer program (pure data) in Prime's mind/spark that allowed him to create new TF life. It also wasn't a sign of leadership, just some holy item. So, when Prime blew himself up in "After...

...The writer kept bringing up the point in "Funeral for a friend" (the "Afterdeath" funeral issue) that the Autobots should've tried looking for the Matrix before shooting Prime into space. My problem is, he kept making it seem like the Matrix was a physical device, when Bob explicitly stated that ...

I had my own theory on the "Matrix is a gateway to Allspark" thing and how it relates to destroying Unicron: -Primacron worked with the Quints when they were first making the TFs and makes the Primitives. Then he goes off to make Unicron as a WMD or a solar system clean-up device. He decides to give...

Well, the real reason he was a dragon and werewolf was so he'd be the "Noble" Beast Mutant toy from the end of BW. In-show, they never explained it but you can say it was the result of Meg's own evil persona having some effect on the organic remnants.

I know, but it's a retroactive change that makes sense.

A3 was in Rebirth and Headmasters, in Rebirth he gave Prime visions, in HM he recharged the Matrix with his spirit power.

The Matrix is a portable interface to the Allspark dimension, the source of all TF life past present and future and all the knowledge they possess. If you have a compatible spark the Matrix links you to the Allspark and lets you access all the TF's collective wisdom, and also it enhances your physic...

US #5, for the first time we are introduced to the concept of evil winning in TFs, and the Bots totally beaten, and their fates are in the hands of a sole medic and a 17 year old human.

Soundwave doesn't mean he has to be a media device. He can be a Communications vehicle and still be "Soundwave" with his comm tech.

The Cassettes can be the satellite equipment on the van.

I really can't see a Soundwave toy that transforms into an I-Pod, MP3 player, etc. It'd be one heckuva crap toy, especially his cassette dudes. I want him to be a spy van, or communications vehicle, with the cassettes being the satellite equipment mounted on the truck, being able to be the equipment...

Okey-Dokey. BW II and BW Neo happen concurrently with BW, only they are in the present (300 years future) and take place in other space sectors. See, the backstory is that there was a rebel Predacon group headed by Cryotek (BW Megs' mentor), who masterminded the plot to steal Maximal ships and use t...

There's another theory that when Depth Charge and Rampage died and went back to the Allspark, the real Dinobot's spark went back to our reality at the same time through the "spark rift" their deaths created, and rejoined with Dinobot II.

Inferno died at the end of BW, and his remains are still on Earth. Plus Megs never truly cared all that much about his troops so why would he ressurect Inferno? Rattrap, at his core, has always been a "look out for number one" type guy. Just look at how he selfishly refuse to help Cheetor in the BW ...
