Re: Talk about your favourite football team.

I was quite happy that Maribor kicked out Celtic, but now seeing as Slovenia, Sweden and Bulgaria all ended their CL drought in one year and we're still waiting (19 ******* years by the time next season comes), it somehow doesn't feel as good.

Re: NO.

Some of those are oversized or "special" issues, but do you really believe this isn't the beginning of "the new normal?" Yeah, we don't either. ALL of them are oversized, and those were always going for more than $3.99. When 32-page issues start going for $.4.99, that will be new normal. This is no...

Re: The "IDW Collection" hardcovers

Aren't the issues in phase one hardcovers unreasonably in the chronological order (and not correct one from what I read). I just think that's wrong approach. I've seen that IDW is doing their run from the beginning in fat softcovers which is my favourite print format, but the first one has Infiltrat...

Re: X-Men (Spoilers, so many Spoilers)

Re: timeline - I think like BF says, Mystique at some point escaped to be with Magneto's Brotherhood and Sentinels project took time to take off. At the beginning of first film the Mutant Registration Act is still not passed and maybe something like what happened in X3 made them finally go with Sent...

Ozz - when you make a purchase I'm assuming your preference is to use a laptop / desktop? Do you also read your comics on your laptop or do you transfer them to a portable device? I buy (or redeem the code) through the website and read on an iPad. i found that Fid to Width option is the best way to...

Re: ComiXology

As someone who was buying only through website anyway (screw cutting out Apple, I was doing it mainly because it was CHEAPER cause it was in $ and not in €, but more on that later), I don't care about this change. I was usually buying issues on sales to be read later, so I didn't need to download th...

While it would be nice for example to have Wolverine in Avengers movie, isn't the Marvel Cinematic Universe more interesting because it doesn't have hundreds of super-powered mutants in it?

Re: Marvel's Agents of W.H.E.D.O.N.

Nice cameoing from Agent Sitwell and his "Well I'm off to be in The Winter Soldier now" bit. Slightly undermined in the UK by us already having had that movie, but points for intent. I guess they didn't think about the rest of the world when they did that, but it works for the US crowd. Having seen...

Re: Talk about your favourite football team.

Last year Legia Warsaw won the Polish League for the first time in seven years (we should have won already year before, but tripped over ourselves near the finish line). Polish League is pretty much ****, so I see it more as European Cups qualifications qualification and would be fine with second or...

On a Thor-related topic, I'm glad Sif gets more screen-time even if it's not in the movies. I still feel she's wasted and should have bigger role.

Being exclusive for Marvel basically means "you can't work for DC, everyone else is a fair game", and vice versa. At least that's how it always seemed to me.

Re: Thor Deux

I think Malekith didn't want to reshape the nine worlds, but simply destroy them. Therefore Aether could as well be Power "Gem". And I don't really know what the Space one should do, but IIRC Red Skull used Tesseract as a battery of sorts to power HYDRA gear, and Loki to power the portal, so maybe ...

Just to be sure: it has a scene in the middle of the credits, and then one after credits, too? And the last one is actually, let's call it important, not Avengers sitting in silence for 30 seconds and hiding facial hair? :)

Before Avengers hit the cinemas I remember thinking that this just has to be great and then it was, maybe even better. Same here. Re: I like comics, How 'bout you?

Thanks again. Good call on Remender's X-Force. I was going to use AvX tie-in issues to determine what goes before and what after, but now I see that one doesn't have any, so I'll get to it sooner. Isn't Hunger pretty much set in the Ultimate U? So other than knowing that "something" has caused some ...

Re: I like comics, How 'bout you?

OK, thanks. What about other series? For example do I need to catch up with All-New X-Men or Gillen's Iron Man before AOU? The plan currently is: Avengers vs. X-Men -> final pre Marvel Now issues of Avengers, Uncanny X-Force and the like -> Uncanny Avengers -> Age of Ultron -> other Marvel Now series.

Re: I like comics, How 'bout you?

Question about Age Of Ultron: since it was supposedly written some time ago and delayed in favor of Avengers vs. X-Men, can it be read before Marvel Now series? I heard that it's best to catch up with Uncanny Avengers before reading UA #8AU (heh), but what about Wolverine and the X-Men and others? T...

One thing I wasn't sure about, how were the bad guys defeated? They seemed to be invincible T1000 types (except with flame instead of liquid mercury) except sometimes they just died after a well placed shot. My comics bill yesterday was just shy of £70. Which is exactly why I asked if anyone would like to sell their digital codes. :) You'd have comics cheaper or more for the same price. ROTK got into the top four because of it's directing, score, acting, cinematography, special effects, action, story, etc. Erm, is it still the top four films that made the most money? If so, then all those things might be, but most likely weren't the reasons it did so well. People wanted to see it ...

So... ... Yeah? Yeah. If you have Ellis' Ultimate Human (trade might be called Ultimate Hulk vs. Iron Man), then it goes between Power and the annuals. Is the "Ultimate Comics" universe follow-ups any good? The presence of Millar on the Avengers stuff makes me hopeful, but I can't help noticing the...
