Time passes, and UN peace talks are sabotaged by a sudden attack by Cobra, complete with Transformers under their programming. The military presense there retaliates, and after a tank explodes Snake Eyes' face becomes horribly disfigured (Wow! Bet you didn't see that coming!).  | Things are looking grim for our heroes as the Decepticon Seekers come out to play; fortunately, the Autobots have their own fliers with which to fight back! Down below in the Terrordrome, Megatron throws a tantrum resulting in the death of a few Cobra soldiers, but Cobra Commander steps in and uses the Matrix to punish the Decepticon leader. Brass balls on Cobra Commander... I'm sure that'll come back to haunt him. Meanwhile, Snake Eyes must fight both Ravage and Storm Shadow in a match sure to test all his skills and abilities. For the other Joes and Autobots though, the ground they are walking on is sure to 'Rumble' soon... | full review |

 | Destro likes what he sees and decides to test out Soundwave and the cassettes in an attack on Gi-Joe HQ. There the Transformers cause much carnage, but naturally, as Image have the rights to the Joe franchise, the GI's kick some robo-ass (sigh). Then Bumblebee and Wheeljack intervene (who are the only two Transformers not reprogrammed by Cobra) and they see off the marauding Cobras/'cons. They make friends with the Joes and Wheeljack uses his technical wizardry to reactivate the other Transformers in captivity. | more details |

 | The deadly treachery of Zartan has struck and the Joes suffer a greivous defeat that they may not recover from. Meanwhile, Rumble continues to play havoc with the ambushed Autobot/Joe forces, until the bravery of a small yellow Autobot, and a fiery red-haired woman arrive to do battle with the evil Decepticon - sexual tension not withstanding, Bumblebee and Scarlett make a good team it seems. Kinky. Meanwhile, due to Flint's ominous capture by Soundwave, Beach Head takes command of his team and continues their trek towards an airfield radio control tower... only to encounter Frenzy, who is understandly annoyed at the fleshies. Violence ensues as Beach Head fights off the cassette. But all these heroics could be for naught should the mighty Bruticus, spawn of Starscream and Destro's evil minds, be awakened...  | The Decepticons start rampaging through the Cobra base. The Autobots come round too, and Optimus Prime and Megatron have a big punch up just like the old days. Meanwhile, the Joes are forced to neutralise Bumblebee and Wheeljack on the orders of their superiors - it seems the island's gonna get nuked. However, its revealed that blowing up the island will detonate the energon there, in the process destroying half the world! Oh well. This causes Hawk and his team to disobey direct orders, and head for the island with their two 'bot buddies. | more details |

 | Both sides have suffered great losses, and the casualties are sure only to mount. Flint, is a prisoner of Cobra and a "guest" of the Baroness, while Beach Head fights for his life against Frenzy. In the air Lady Jaye battles the deadly Cobra ace, Wild Weasel, but it is on the ground that the true cost of war is made plain to see as Optimus finally realises the extent of the horrors of Cobra. With this knowledge in hand the Autobots officially give their full support to the Gi-Joe commandos and begin preparations for the final invasion of the Terrordrome.  | "No plan survives contact with the enemy." With Superion out of action, the carefully laid plans of the Autobots and Joes are falling apart around them. Unfortunately things get a bit hazy at this point as someone seems to have randomly taken pages and panels out of my issue - Hound and Wheeljack go off saving drowning soldiers, Snake Eyes and Scarlett run after Bruticus, Starscream gets shot in the 'ear'(?), while Optimus decides to confront Megatron for their epic duel by... punching him once. The Matrix explodes, the Transformers all die, evil triumphs and you no longer exist. *cough* I mean, this last issue should no longer exist. Yeah. | full review |
| Vol 1 006: Gi-Joe Vs The Transformers - Part 6 |
 | The nukes are launched. At the last minute Dr Mindbender and Mainframe reprogram a Cobra satellite to melt the missiles. But then the satellite starts firing randomly, incinerating friend and foe alike. Prime and Megatron have another fight, but Prime's had enough really, and nicks Megs' fusion cannon and shoots the satellite with it. Then he and his 'bots jump back on the Ark and go home. Little do they realise that the 'cons get dissected in a human lab, and Starscream and Cobra Commander go on holiday. | more details |

 | It’s 1985, and the Joes ambush one of Cobra’s bases of operations. Destro escapes, which means Flint gets a telling off from his superiors. Meanwhile, a Transformer shuttle crashes down at Mount St Hilary, and the Joe and Cobra forces go to investigate. After a bout of fighting, the Joes discover Blaster and Perceptor. Back at base, Flint gets a history lesson from the aged Duke, Scarlett and Stalker, who fill him in on the events of Vol 1, back in the Second World War. Gosh! | more details |

| Using Cybertronian technology, researchers have opened a wormhole between Earth and the Transformers’ homeworld, using the supercomputer Teletran 3 on Cybertron. Cobra Commander wants to nick the computer with Destro’s help. However, Gi-Joe find out about their scam and catch them in the act, though a stray shot transports everyone involved to Cybertron. Teletran 3 malfunctions and zaps four groups of Transformers across the timestream. Shockwave and his gang are about to kill the humans when Ultra Magnus intervenes, shooting the ‘cons and activating a force field. Cobra and the Joes call a temporary truce as the Earth is faced with a nuclear holocaust (as usual), and Perceptor arranges to send the humans through time to retrieve the lost Transformers. First up are Lady Jaye, Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow and Zartan, who go back to 1970s San Francisco and, in a madcap caper, manage to find Jazz, Bumblebee, Hot Rod and Blitzwing and bring them back. | more details |

| The Baroness, Roadblock, Beach Head and a Cobra trooper called Percy (I kid you not) find themselves in 1930s Chicago in search of misplaced Transformers. First they happen across Optimus (handy) and then infiltrate a jazz club where they discover four of the Stunticons – the fifth, Motormaster, has been appropriated by gangsters and filled with dynamite to blow open a bank. The Stunticons chase Prime and his buddies, but the Baroness (looking pretty foxy in her new get up) ignites the dynamite, and everyone goes back… to the future! | more details |

| Barbecue, Spirit, Dr Mindbender, and Tomax & Xamot are transported to Earth’s future, which is a desolate wasteland conquered by Shockwave. They find Ratchet, who they need to bring back with them, but he’s become a resistance fighter and doesn’t want to leave. But they zap him back to the future anyway, where Shockwave blasts him (ouch!) and ventilates one of the twins (no great loss). It seems the ‘cons have got through the force field, and are going to leave the remaining time travellers trapped in the timestream, dooming Earth to destruction! | more details |

| Roadblock and Lady Jaye get half-naked (for reasons too convoluted for me to bother explaining here) and manage to open the portal, unleashing the might of the Dinobots from Earth’s past. Suffice to say the good guys win, and the Decepticons run away like scaredy-cats. After everyone goes home, Starscream goes begging to Shockwave, but he's rigged to explode by Cobra Commander, blowing up the ‘con base. Oh, and confusingly we end with Dr Mindbender being taken out of prison to face the hordes of Unicron and the Kingdom of Cobra-La, whoever they are. | more details |

Serpentor then ambushes them with his two new gestalts and kills Bumblebee for good measure. In captivity Scarlett asks Snake Eyes to show his face so she can snog it. Meanwhile Serpentor convinces the rest of the 'cons to join his cause - he's a fast worker. Then the Decepticons attack Prime's peace celebrations, so Omega Supreme comes out to play. | more details |
