| Vol 1 001: Generation One - Part 1 |
 | An article in the back of the comic tells us that a few years ago the 'bots won the war and headed off to Cybertron with some human guests (including Sparkplug Witwicky) and their Decepticon captives, but after take off their ship exploded. In the present day some soldiers are attacked by Megatron. This prompts a shadowy military type named Hallo to contact Sparkplug´s adult son Spike. Meanwhile, we are shown that Megatron and a number of other TFs are under the control of Lazarus, who plans to sell them to the highest bidder. Spike is taken to a military base where he has a run in with a creepy janitor, is shown that Megatron has returned, and where Hallo reveals they have found the deactivated Optimus Prime. | full review |
| Vol 1 002: Generation One - Part 2 |
 | Spike reactivates Prime with a portion of the matrix that he happens to have. Meanwhile, Lazarus sends a group of Transformers to trash an oil refinery as a demo to his potential buyers. As this is a mature dark storyline - people die! Ohmygod! However, as bidding starts Megatron reveals he has regained control and goes on to trash Lazarus' base. Meanwhile, Prime uses the matrix to revive several other Autobots near where he was found. | full review |
| Vol 1 003: Generation One - Part 3 |
 | Prime visits the site that the remote controlled TFs attacked, and Spike has a go at him for bringing the war to Earth. Megs' actions reveal the location of Lazarus´s base and the Autobots head there. Meanwhile the Deceps have dismantled the mini-Autobots in Lazarus´s possession and Megatron unleashes some kind of wacky virus that turns organic life into metal. The Autobots turn up and are surprised by the defection of Grimlock who is apparently confused that humans have used him as a tool for killing. Megs tries to convince the rest of the Autos to do the same. A battle starts but it is quickly ended when Hallo bombs both groups mid fight... | full review |
| Vol 1 004: Generation One - Part 4 |
 | Turns out Megatron’s wacky virus has absorbed the energy from the bombing. By the time the ‘bots wake up the ‘cons have already scarpered. The Autobots investigate the still spreading virus and find it has been generated from several of their badly injured comrades. A barely conscious Ironhide gives Prime a message and half the ‘bots rush to stop the Deceps from destroying San Francisco while the others try and stop the virus. In the ensuing battle Devastator gets the better of Superion and everything becomes very one sided. Meanwhile Spike, now a captive of Hallo, gets a mysterious note under his cell door... | full review |
| Vol 1 005: Generation One - Part 5 |
 | The second group of Autobots start to combat the virus with blasters working from their own power sources. Devastator takes out the remaining Autobots in San Fran, except Prime who has the bright idea of shooting Dev in the face. Meanwhile, Spike is rescued by the creepy janitor who reveals that Hallo and Lazarus blew up the spaceship they were all on to get control of the Transformers, but Lazarus betrayed Hallo. Elsewhere, the Autobots fighting the virus are attacked by the Canadian military and a weakened Prime is captured by Megatron who again tries to convince Prime that the humans aren’t worth it. Meanwhile, Hallo decides to nuke San Francisco... | full review |

 | The nuke launches. Meanwhile the Canadian military does a number on the virus-fighting Autobots. Back in San Francisco Prime amazingly decides not to turn into a bad guy, but as Megatron is about to kill him some random humans drive some fire trucks into Megs. Back in Canada most of the Autobots are downed, but Wheeljack has a plan... Meanwhile some military types turn up and shoot Hallo. The Autobots are kicking ass in San Francisco, but Soundwave detects the missile approaching. Superion decides the best way to stop it is to fly into the missile, while elsewhere Wheeljack plugs himself into a random transmitter and stops the virus, seemingly at the cost of his own life. The Decepticons escape, Prime gets upset, and Grimlock refuses to come back to the fold...the end? Nah, probably not. | full review |
| Vol 2 001: New World Order |
 | The earthbound ‘bots and ‘cons have a scrap over a stasis pod in Alaska. It turns out to contain Scourge, who is then quickly blasted by none other than Shockwave. Everyone's favourite one-eyed purple weapon, accompanied by a bevy of triple changers, then announces that both factions are under arrest in the name of a united Cybertron. When both groups resist, Megatron is badly beaten and the ‘cons surrender, while the ‘bots beat a hasty retreat. The ‘bots head back to the Ark, leaving a reconnaissance team behind, where they are joined by Grimlock. Elsewhere the recon team are quickly rounded up by a squad of Cybertronians. Meanwhile the Deceps are on course back to Cybertron under Shockwave’s command, but Starscream is up to his usual tricks and takes the opportunity to blast the injured Megs into space. | Vol 2 002: Brothers' Burden |
 | Turns out the squad of Cybertronians on Earth are led by Ultra Magnus, and he’s demanding that the remaining 'bots surrender. Prime decides to split his forces, with some surrendering, and a secret force escaping. On Cybertron it is revealed that the ‘bots and ‘cons are working together under Shockwave, although many of the ‘bots seem less than happy. On Earth Grimmers conveniently locates the other Dinobots and a shuttle. Back on Cybertron Starscream continues to scheme, recruiting Soundwave to his cause. Before long Magnus turns up with his prisoners but is appalled when Shockers announces Prime and co pose a threat and must be executed. | full review |

 | We start with a curious flashback designed to sell the ongoing series. Then we move to Earth with some events designed to sell the ongoing series. Meanwhile back in Mini Series Land the Dinobots are on their way to Cybertron, where they crashland. At the same time Shockwave sends Rumble and Frenzy on a dubious mission, but Starscream intercepts them. Moments later the Stunticons are released from prison. Elsewhere the Dinobots attack Iacon from the outside while Prime and co are freed by Sandstorm and Broadside. Prime is led towards a mysterious meeting by Sandstorm, but they are seemingly attacked. | full review |
| Vol 2 004: Passive Aggression |
 | Magnus and the Wreckers manage to stop Menasor but Magnus is suspicious as to how the Stunticons have escaped. Meanwhile Grimmers manages to catch up with Shockwave while the Dinobots continue to attack. Elsewhere Prime and the other Earthen ‘bots are introduced to a resistance faction led by Hot Rod. Back at Iacon the Dinobots are taken down by the reactivation of the Omega Sentinels and Grimlock is taken down by Magnus before he gets the chance to finish off Shockwave. | full review |
| Vol 2 005: Countdown to Extinction |
 | Prime and the resistance attack Iacon while Magnus tries to figure out what exactly is going on. Shockwave seems strangely pleased that the ‘bots are attacking. Meanwhile Soundwave and Starscream take over Iacon’s communication centre. Elsewhere Magnus confronts Shockers about what is going on and is shot through the chest. For no apparent reason Starscream broadcasts images of this to all and sundry, leading Prime to seek out Magnus. Prime quickly finds a seemingly dying Magnus and heads after Shockwave, who kicks his ass and steals the matrix. Shockwave then uses the matrix to access Victor Segma and again for no apparent reason (buy the ongoing series! buy the ongoing series!) beams a message into space and, seemingly, to Unicron. | Vol 2 006: Revelation |
 | Shockwave conveniently explains to a wounded Prime how he revived everyone on Cybertron after the ‘Great Shutdown’ and united the warring factions. Meanwhile the Autobots continue to combat Shockwave's forces, now with the help from the ‘bots formally allied to Shockwave’s cause. Elsewhere Starscream and Soundwave make off with the Combaticons (buy the ongoing series!). Within his citadel Shockwave blathers on that he is close to discovering the secrets of the Transformers race, giving a not dead Ultra Magnus time to turn up and shoot him. After a bit of a ruck Magnus manages to make Shockwave fall down a hole (which was there all along, honest). Magnus and Prime, with Grimlock’s help, then escape Shocker’s citadel, which falls down for no discernable reason. Everyone then stands around wondering what that was all about, a bit like the end of The Matrix Revolutions. Oh, and there is a final shot of Megs floating through space (buy the ongoing series!). | full review |

| Vol 3 001: Night of the Combaticons |
 | Starscream has trashed the Earth-based Autobots, with the help of Bruticus, though Ratchet and Brawn have slipped the net. On Cybertron, Runabout and Runamuck get flattened by Sunstorm, a mysterious new Transformer who they come across in Shockwave's lab. Sunstorm then blasts off in Earth's direction. Bumblebee and a crew of 'bots are also headed that way, and get contacted by Ratchet and Brawn at the Ark. Bruticus catches up with the two 'bots, but they set the Ark for self-destruct, and escape. It blows up, and then Sunstorm turns up. | full review |
| Vol 3 002: Black Sunshine |
 | Sunstorm is bashing up everybody. Bruticus gets walloped, Bumblebee's ship crashes, and Starscream makes a run for it, with Sunstorm in pursuit. Back on Cybertron, Autobot training is not going well, but at least Magnus is back online, with Prime soon to follow (after having the matrix wrenched from him at the end of Vol 2). On Earth, Starscream reaches the Nemesis under the ocean, but Sunstorm catches up to him. Sunstorm claims to be his brother, but Starscream, not a big fan of family get-togethers, wakes Jetfire up from stasis to take him on. | full review |

 | Sunstorm and Jetfire have a good ol' ruck, and Jetfire wins. Jetfire and Starscream then go to the other Autobots on Earth for help. They formulate a plan to capture him once and for all, and after another great big brawl, attach a inhibitor device to Sunstorm, and he flies off. But in the confusion, Starscream has scarpered up to Alaska. A weak Sunstorm tracks him down and begs for his help, but then gets blasted by an unknown assailant. | full review |

 | Bumblebee and co approach Omega Supreme's unconscious body as they try to catch up with Sunstorm and Starscream. Jetfire then explains what he and Omega were doing on Earth when suddenly Omega reawakens, and points out where Sunstorm has flown off to. Cliffjumper stays behind to guard Omega, while Jetfire and Bumblebee fly off towards the ocean. As they approach, they see Sunstorm and Starscream opening some sort of seal down on the ocean floor. The two Decepticons open the seal and jump inside some sort of alien tunnel, with Jetfire and Bumblebee following them before the ocean re-floods the area. The four meet at the bottom of the tube, fight, and Starscream emerges the victor... | full review |
