Cobra discover the crashed Ark and the deactivated remains of the Transformers inside. Time passes, and UN peace talks are sabotaged by a sudden attack by Cobra, complete with Transformers under their programming. The military presense there retaliates, and after a tank explodes Snake Eyes' face becomes horribly disfigured (Wow! Bet you didn't see that coming!). After this mess the government form a task force called Gi-Joe to deal with this threat.
